From Rap To Film

My name is Steven Laws I'm 60 years old. I was born in Harlem, New York. I ran away to East Baltimore from an abusive father at age twelve. I was reunited with my mother in South Central Los Angeles at age 14. I started rapping when I was about 13 and still rap to this day. I have hundreds of songs which I produced for other artists as well as my self.

In 2016 I produced a medical documentary to help raise funds for a sick friend (See on YouTube: Jean Powe "Stevens Johnson Syndrome" Survivor). That got me into writing scripts and filmmaking. Thereafter I gained a lot of experience attempting to self produce and release my own films "The Groupie", "The Dup's", and "Evil Justice".

In 2023 I moved to Redding California. I'm looking to network and work with others in the filmmaking business. I'm available to help with your project as a laborer, urban street advisor, script writer, co-writer, or just to lend a helping hand.
