LOCAL CAST & CREW

So Many Beautiful Locations

“I’ve never known another area as a filmmaker that gives such a variation of topography and locations … everything from mountains to plains, beaches to forest, and waterfalls to lakes, along with all the sun and snow you could wish for.”

Best Collection of Film Locations

Shasta County has the best collection of film locations. Ancient forests, waterfalls, lakes, volcanoes and they’re all centered around a great town with all of the resources any production would need. The Shasta Film Commissioner’s office has been a great help to me over the years. I’ve directed over a dozen commercially released movies in Shasta County.

Quick to Assist

Of all the cities I’ve filmed in, Redding has been one of the quickest to jump to our assistance for anything needing to be done to make our production a success. This, on top of locations that provide scenic mountains and lakes, small downtowns, city, hospitals, and more makes it an ideal location to film.

Dreams Come True

We have made four feature length movies and three documentaries in Shasta County. Working with Film Shasta was a great value to us. They were able to help us with locations, permits and advice. Making movies in this area is a dream come true

We’ll be back!

Thanks very much! I received the local incentive check from your office. It helps a great deal, given the tight budget I operate on. Have a great week, and I will contact you again when it’s time to look at my upcoming shoots.
